Bachelor in Cognitive Science with Honours
(UW-6-440-001)

Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary field that explores the nature of the mind and intelligence, integrating insights from Cognitive Psychology, Neuroscience, Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, and Philosophy. This field combines these diverse perspectives to examine how people and computers process information, learn, and think, and how its processes can be replicated or enhanced through technology.

The Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development is a pioneer in advancing Cognitive Science in this region. Its interdisciplinary programme prepares graduates with a comprehensive understanding of cognitive processes, research methodologies, and practical applications, including programming skills essential for developing systems, simulations, and interactive tools.

This knowledge is applicable to fields such as systems development, user experience and interaction design, human factors and ergonomics, as well as instructional design and technology.

Graduates can pursue careers in academia, industry, technology, and other sectors.
