This program is designed to develop professionals with a broad understanding of psychology, covering areas such as personality, human development, social behaviour, abnormal psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and the physiological aspects of human beings. By grasping the principles of human behaviour, graduates are expected to contribute their expertise and skills to benefit and improve the community.
The undergraduate program is comprehensive and multidisciplinary, delivered through a combination of lectures, tutorials, case studies, and practical sessions, all conducted with adherence to ethical standards. Additionally, students gain real-world experience through practical work in various settings, including industry, hospitals, schools, and other community environments.
This program also prepares students for further study in postgraduate programs or for careers that require a strong foundation in psychology.

Undergraduate Funding
Students can apply for loans, scholarships, or sponsorships from various organizations, including Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia (JPA), Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional Malaysia (PTPTN), state governments, statutory bodies, and private sector entities. Specific details can be obtained directly from these organizations, with opportunities typically advertised in local newspapers.
Students who secure a loan, scholarship, or sponsorship for their studies at the University must submit a copy of their offer letter on registration day.
To further assist students, the Student Affairs and Alumni Division (for undergraduate students) and the Centre of Graduate Studies (for postgraduate students) will regularly liaise with representatives from these funding sources to provide ongoing support.
STUDENT AFFAIRS: LOAN/SCHOLARSHIP/SPONSORSHIP UNIT
This unit is responsible for assisting students with loan, scholarship, or sponsorship matters during orientation week. It serves as an intermediary, providing new students with information about available financial aid options and supporting them in securing these resources throughout their time at UNIMAS. The unit’s key functions include:
- Providing information about applicable loans, scholarships, and sponsorships
- Assisting students with documentation to ensure a smooth application process
Main functions:
- Organizing meetings between sponsors and sponsored students as needed
- Coordinating activities arranged by sponsors for their sponsored students
- Supplying sponsors with student progress reports each semester for payment purposes
